Separate the container from its stationary setup
An established Cleburne storage container may have an awning, ramp, electrical connection, or adjoining structure. Photograph those features and explain what the responsible parties will disconnect or remove. Tell TCT which modifications will remain during transport so dimensions and handling can be assessed accurately.
Check the base and collection space
Show the lower corners, rails, and ground around the unit. Report settlement, corrosion, or materials stored against it. At the new property, prepare a suitable receiving area and mark the door direction. Include enough space for the equipment's operation rather than only the final footprint.
Can a modified container be transported?
Provide its complete dimensions, current condition, attachments, contents, and weight information for review. Modifications can change clearance and handling requirements. TCT needs to assess the actual unit before confirming that the proposed equipment and sites are suitable.
Cleburne: describe modifications in their transport configuration
For a Cleburne modified-container move, list exterior projections and fitted internal equipment separately. Give the dimensions expected after removable steps, awnings, or accessories are detached. Photograph any alterations to corners or lower rails and explain the current use. TCT should assess the unit that will travel rather than rely on the dimensions of an unmodified shipping container.
Can the standard container length describe a converted unit?
Only partly. Add actual height, width, projecting fittings, loaded weight information, and condition photos so changes to the original dimensions are included in the review.
