Turn the seller's listing into pickup instructions
Obtain photos of the actual container, its identification, and the seller's collection contact. Ask whether it is on the ground, blocked by inventory, or dependent on yard equipment for loading. A sales listing may not show its current location. Share those answers with TCT before choosing a date.
Get the receiving property ready at the same time
Select a position with useful door access and show the truck's approach from the street. Include tight turns, slopes, overhead obstructions, and surface conditions. If a gate panel or parked equipment must be moved, identify who will complete that preparation. The destination should be ready when collection becomes available.
Is seller-provided loading included automatically?
Confirm it directly with the seller. Tell TCT what equipment and operator will be available, along with the pickup window. The transport plan needs a verified loading arrangement; equipment visible in a yard may be assigned to other work.
Mesquite: make a packed storage container understandable
For a Mesquite unit holding mixed business stock, describe the contents by type and identify dense or unusually heavy items. Explain whether goods are secured on shelving, stacked loose, or mounted to the floor. Include reliable weight information and note anything sensitive to tilt or vibration. TCT can then assess the handling request rather than relying on the phrase storage container.
Does a locked container count as prepared cargo?
Closed doors do not establish that the contents are secured or suitable for the proposed handling. Tell TCT how the load is arranged and prepared before transport is confirmed.
