For a Richardson business in a multi-tenant property, check who controls gates, parking, and receiving lanes. The tenant ordering the container may not control every part of the route. Have the property contact confirm where the truck can enter and where the handling operation can occur. Document those instructions with a photo or simple sketch.

Design the placement around daily use

Consider how staff will reach the doors and whether the container will interfere with neighboring businesses' access. Mark the proposed position and keep the approach available on moving day. If the unit is loaded, supply cargo and weight details before the handling method is selected.

Can a property manager meet the delivery for me?

Provide the manager's contact details and make sure they have the agreed placement instructions. They should know which container is arriving and who can authorize any necessary change. TCT still needs to review a changed position against equipment access before using it.

Richardson: separate the business entrance from the equipment entrance

For a Richardson commercial delivery, give TCT the gate intended for a truck and trailer, not simply the customer-facing address. Show the route past loading areas, building corners, and parked vehicles. Ask the property contact to confirm any receiving hours or shared-access arrangements. A clear arrival point helps prevent the move from beginning at an entrance that serves people but not transport equipment.

Should the driver report at the main office?

Provide the site's actual check-in instructions and the equipment gate location. If reporting and loading occur in different places, explain the sequence before the appointment.
