Match the purchased container to the prepared space
Before collection, confirm length, height, and any exterior additions with the seller. A listing's general size description may omit modifications that matter for transport. Send photos of the actual unit, including its doors and base. Tell TCT if a ramp, awning, or external fitting will be removed before pickup.
Coordinate the last preparation tasks
At the Forney destination, clear parked equipment and finish any agreed entrance work before the delivery window. Mark the door direction and arrange a reachable receiving contact. If the surface is newly prepared, explain its condition and provide current photos rather than relying on an older view of the site.
What if the seller substitutes a different container?
Update TCT with the replacement unit's dimensions, condition, identification, and cargo status before collection. A different container can change the assessment even when the nominal length matches. The transport plan should refer to the unit that will actually be released.
Forney: avoid buying a unit before checking the approach
For a Forney container purchase, show TCT the proposed receiving route while you are confirming the unit with the seller. Photograph the entrance from the road, each internal turn, and the final working area. Include the desired door direction and any upcoming fencing or construction. This helps connect the purchase decision to a practical delivery plan.
Is matching the container length to my pad sufficient?
The footprint is only part of the review. Truck alignment, unloading movement, overhead space, and the exit route must also work for the proposed placement.
